Hosted Solutions

Cavoon recommends a hosted solution for independants or for small companies with 4 terminals or less that do not need a PBX. Each location is linked to the Cavoon servers via a secured VPN router.
Advantages: Low set-up costs, no need to purchase a PBX
Disadvantages: This solution does not replace your traditional phone as no emergency calls are possible.

Example:
A businessman has his office and his residence in Geneva, his partner in Singapore, his daughter in the UK and clients in the US.

Solution:
Three cordless phones with a VPN router each are installed in each of the two offices and at his residence. All three phones are connected via a VPN tunnel to the Cavoon servers. In addition, tel numbers from Switzerland, the UK, the US and Singapore are rented and connected.

Benefits:

Free, unlimited, secured phone calls between the three locations.
Daughter in the UK can call a local UK number which makes both the Geneva office and home phones ring simultaneously.
Clients in New York call a local New York number to reach the Geneva office.
Partners in Singapore can reach the Geneva office by dialling a local Singapore number for example from a Singapore mobile.
Inversely, the Singapore office can be reached from any Swiss location by dialling a local Swiss number.
